Reading the Electronic Gems Charging-Case Lights

The case indicator and earphone battery display answer different questions. Start by identifying which part of the charging system you are reading.

The light on the Electronic Gems charging case is a case indicator. Before interpreting it, separate the case's stored power from the charge in the earphones. A full case and a full pair of earphones are not automatically the same state.

The product guide describes light behavior for checking case power and for charging. Use that guidance rather than assigning a meaning to every flash from memory of another device.

Checking the case

The guide describes a single press of the button on the back of the case to display its battery level. The illuminated length indicates the remaining case power. Read it as a view of the case, not as a separate percentage for each earphone.

If you are also looking at battery information in the app, check which item that display identifies. Two readings can concern different parts of the system rather than contradicting one another.

You do not need to convert a short indicator into a prediction of exactly how many hours or days remain. Battery endurance depends on use, and an indicator is not a test of future playback.

While the case charges

The documented charging pattern is a breathing light, with a steady light indicating a full charge. Check that the pattern is being observed in the relevant charging context rather than interpreting a momentary light without considering what the case is doing.

Electronic Gems charges by USB-C and does not support wireless charging. If you have placed the case on a wireless pad, changing how you interpret the light will not add an unsupported charging method.

When something seems wrong

Check the supported power connection and the orientation of the earphones in the case. Keep contacts dry and avoid forcing a piece into place. Do not bend contacts or open the case to investigate the electronics.

If the indication remains unexpected or charging does not work, describe the behavior to support. A short video of the light and an explanation of whether the case is connected to power can help make the question specific.

Use the current guide for any model-specific troubleshooting. This everyday light explanation is not a reset procedure, and a steady indicator is not a guarantee of a particular battery lifespan or listening duration.
