Both NEBULA and Electronic Gems keep the ear canal open and make the earphone a visible part of an outfit. Choosing between them starts with a more practical question than which design you like in a photograph: how do you want to put your earphones on and use them through the day?
We would compare the wearing structure first, then the controls and charging routine. Neither collection is a substitute for sealed, noise-cancelling earbuds when that is what your listening environment requires.
A hook or a clip
NEBULA uses an ear-hook construction. You position it over the ear and rotate it gently into place. Electronic Gems uses a cross-arm spring clip, with the decorative face visible at the front and another part sitting behind the ear. The clip should move through its intended mechanism; the metal structure should not be force-bent to change the fit.
These are different wearing methods, not two names for the same shape. Look at a reverse view as well as a portrait. Very small ears, flat ear ridges or limited supporting space can affect the fit. A photograph of a secure fit on someone else cannot settle that question for you.

What the weight figures mean
Electronic Gems weighs approximately 12 to 15 grams per earphone, depending on the design. NEBULA weighs approximately 18 to 21 grams per earphone, depending on the silhouette. Those figures describe one earphone, not a pair or a charging case.
Electronic Gems is the lighter collection on paper. That does not establish how either will feel on your ears. The contact position, available support and your sensitivity to pressure matter too. If pressure develops, adjust gently or take the earphones off rather than treating discomfort as something you need to get used to.
How you prefer to control playback
Electronic Gems has touch controls. Its default actions include a single tap on the right for volume up, a single tap on the left for volume down, and a double tap for playback or calls. The app also offers control mapping.
NEBULA does not support touch-control interaction. Plan to use your connected device to manage audio. If you frequently reach for an earbud to pause a track, this difference deserves attention before you choose a silhouette.
The case belongs in the decision
Both collections use charging cases and support USB-C charging. NEBULA's case also supports wireless charging; Electronic Gems' case does not. A wireless charger is not included with NEBULA. Check the included accessories rather than assuming your preferred charging setup arrives in the box.
For a compact, gem-like face and touch controls, start with Electronic Gems. For a sculptural ear-hook shape and a case with a wireless option, look at NEBULA. These are useful starting points, not rankings of sound quality.
Open-ear listening can allow sound to escape, particularly at higher volume or in a quiet room. Neither collection provides active noise cancellation. Choose the one whose wearing method and daily routine appeal to you, while keeping those shared limits in view.
