A Gift from the Mother Planet returns for the New Year in red. Rectangular boxes, a metallic case and silver wearable forms are arranged against a deep crimson field, with vivid pink appearing inside the opened package. The official post frames the edition as a way to begin the Year of the Snake by leaving the ordinary behind. Cosmic language is brought into a familiar ritual of exchange, opening and renewal.
The design avoids literal zodiac illustration. Instead, the Year of the Snake is carried through atmosphere: reflective surfaces, elongated packaging, concentrated color and the promise of a signal already live. “Design for Transhuman” on the box connects the seasonal gift back to OF HUNGER’s larger electronic-body proposition. The object is not only something to receive. It is something that changes the outline and sound of the person who opens it.
New Year gifting is especially suited to this narrative because it already marks a transition between states. The set arrives as equipment for crossing that threshold with a different body style. Red supplies celebration and intensity; silver keeps the future hardware precise. Worn after the packaging is stored away, the accessory earphones continue the transmission into ordinary days. The ritual begins with a box, but its intended destination is the body moving through the new year.
