The contrast is deliberate: warmth and synthetic anatomy occupy the same portrait, preventing the imagined future from collapsing into a single hard, metallic stereotype.

The official project presents three fashion opinion leaders as participants in a study of life and style in 2049. Feidie’s image makes that study feel bodily rather than abstract. Crossed arms and a direct gaze give the subject control, even as the visual treatment opens the body to circuitry and engineered components. Modification is not shown as damage or disguise. It becomes another layer of dress, one that can sit beside fur, skin and makeup without cancelling them.
